ABOUT THE CHAPTER
40+ years of existence
Change from “2” to “4” fully endowed scholarships
The Chapter was named a “Group of Distinction” by the Penn State Alumni Association in 2017. Affiliate groups named as a “Group of Distinction” have served in several different programmatic categories, including career networking, social interaction and fellowship, supporting students, and leading THON-related activities. The Chester County Chapter earned the Laurel Level status by having programming in 14 of 15 categories.
In 2018, the Chester County Chapter was selected to participate in beta testing for the membership database management system powered by Tassl. This system allows our Chapter to fully customize our website, membership data and events so that alumni have the ability to register and pay for events online. Download the Tassl app on the App store to sign up and receive notification of all Chapter and local Penn State Alumni Association Events.
