PSU Chesco Mega-Fan Challenge 2024-2025
Guidelines
1) Current board members cannot participate.
2) Points are earned and good during 1 fiscal year.
a. Points earned from time of registration through May 31 st
b. Winner announced in June for each year the program is held.
c. Points will not roll over and will reset on July 1 st of each year.
3) Points are per individual, non-transferable and cannot be combined with another member/household.
4) Must be a current member of the Alumni Association to participate.
5) Participants must register and provide their contact information, membership number etc. for points tracking.
6) By registering, participants electronically agree to the use of their personal information for tracking and to
contact them if a winner.
7) If an event is canceled, points will still be granted to those who were registered before the cancelation.
8) Awardee with the most points for the fiscal year will be.
a. The “PSU Chesco Mega-FAN”.
b. Announced at the end of the year at the all-members meeting.
c. Awarded a prize of their choosing from a selection of Penn State items valued between $50-$75.
How to Earn Points
1) 5 points for registering and attending a Chester County hosted event.
2) 15 points for serving as a volunteer at a chapter event.
3) 25 points for managing an event for the Chester County Chapter (does not need to be a new one).
4) 10 points for suggesting a new event that is selected and added to the Chapter’s calendar.
5) 2 points per carton of ice cream purchased during the annual ice cream sale.
6) 10 points for making a monetary donation to the Chapter’s Scholarship Funds or THON page (Does NOT include
50/50 or raffles at events).
7) 10 points for donating to our community service collection drives i.e. food/pet food/Toys for Tots/ a monetary
donation.
8) 20 points for, once approved, actively participating in the PSU Fast Start mentoring (or other) university program
– participant will need to notify the chapter and share evidence of participation.
