December Trivia Night postponed but...... IT’S COMING YOUR WAY IN FEBRUARY!!! New date will be sent out after the holidays THON Thanksgiving Let’s think of the THON kids this Thanksgiving as they battle cancer. Show thankfulness for medical advances made toward a cure for the kids by donating to “Give Thanks for THON!” We have raised $460.00 of our proposed $500.00 goal by November 30th. Let’s smash through that goal and show how much Chester County alums support the THON kids! Donate now through the end of November. CLICK HERE TO DONATE Locust Lane Virtual Beer Tasting - Thank You Alumni! Thank you to Locust Lane Craft Brewery, the Chester County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association and the Penn State Brandywine Alumni Society for hosting our first virtual beer tasting. Over 50 participants joined to participate in a virtual tasting led by head brewer Tom Arnold. Missed the event but still want to learn about Locust Lane Craft Brews? View the recording HERE Chapter Community Support Ice Cream Sale - The Chapter held an August Creamery Ice Cream sale to benefit our Open Doors Scholarship. We sold 214 half gallons which raised $591. Many thanks to all the participants. Lifting Up Lions - A alumni association program to provide Penn Staters with information, resources and services to handle challenges especially in these unprecedented times. Click here to access Lifting Up Lions The Chapter sponsored several events in January and February of this year to support THON and raised $1,090. Many thanks to all who participated in the events. The Chapter made a $500 donation to The Student Care & Advocacy Emergency Fund for students facing unexpected hardship due to the COVID-19 situation. Click HERE to make a donation |
